Meet The Doctors

Dr. Christopher Bussema has proudly practiced podiatric medicine in Michigan and Indiana and is dedicated to providing advanced foot and ankle care. Growing up in Kalamazoo, Michigan, he acquired his Bachelor of Science at Western Michigan University. Dr. Bussema received his medical degree from Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, and completed a three-year surgical residency in Youngstown, Ohio. Dr. Bussema is an associate member of the American College or Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association, Michigan Podiatric Medical Association, and is board certified in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Kathleen Bickle is a Michigan native as she was born and raised in Southwest Michigan. She earned her Bachelors of Arts at Kalamazoo College before moving to Chicago, Illinois to complete her doctorate at the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine; a division of Rosalind Franklin University. Dr. Bickle has since returned to Southwest Michigan and has been with Advanas since 2010. Dr. Bickle is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Michigan Podiatric Medical Association.

Dr. Robert Monfore graduated from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, a division of Rosalind Franklin University, in 2010. He completed his residency at McLaren Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan. Dr. Monfore is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and Michigan Podiatric Medical Association. He is also board certified in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Monfores professional interests include biomechanics, practice management, forefoot surgery and DME. Outside of the office, he enjoys traveling, scuba diving, hiking, and collecting rocks.
