Thank You, Thank You!! Advanas Foot and Ankle Specialists. I was recently experiencing severe heel pain in my right foot, and being in the Vending Business, where I’m on my feet most of the day, in and out of facilities with concrete floors. I needed to figure out what was going on. I tried treatment myself with a name brand name insert; however that didn’t seem to really fix my problem. After being referred to Advanas by my friend Jim Lioy, I decided Advanas a try. I was very pleased with the professional advice and treatment I received from Advanas, including certain stretches, to recommended shoe styles and inserts they gave me. Just a month ago I could barely walk without feeling the pain. Today with the treatment I received from Advanas I feel 100 % better. Thanks Again!!

The best way I can describe Advanas/Dr. Monfore, is effective and functional. No gimmicks, or sales pitches. I came in with some mid foot and ankle pains that were disrupting my ability to play the sports I love. We quickly identified the root causes of my pain. About five years ago I injured my foot while training for a half marathon.  Since then, I have had intermittent discomfort which would flare up when running or participating in other forms of physical activity.  I’ve always had the desire to begin running again, and with a recent move back to Sturgis, I knew that if anyone could help me get back it would be Advanas Foot & Ankle Specialists.  So I reached out to an athletic trainer friend, knowing that he would steer me in the right direction, and steer me in the right direction he did.  Within hours of reaching out to him (on a Thursday), he had called the office to let them know that I would be calling, and let me know that they could see me the next Monday.  My office experience was much of the same; courteous staff, excellent facility, and best of all, a very knowledgeable doctor that without hesitation recommended a non-surgical treatment plan for my injury.  I’m not yet back in running shoes, but I have no doubt that Advanas Foot & Ankle Specialists will get me there.

I recently have gone through a procedure for an ingrown toenail. While looking for a place to help me with it I remembered that Jim Lioy had recently taken employment there and knew that if I went there I would be taken care of.  Not to my surprise, Advanas did not disappoint.  I was scheduled easily and quickly.  When I needed to reschedule the staff was helpful and made sure I still was able to get a time that worked with my schedule.  Going in to see what the next step was with my toe I expected it to be a process where I would have to wait a few more weeks to get it taken care of, to my surprise I was able to have it taken care of that day in the office.  The procedure was explained in depth to me and I was given choices as to how I wanted it to be done.  I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would refer anyone to Advanas.

The employee health service at Abbott Nutrition is striving to make improvements for their employees to provide comfort where comfort may be lacking….in the shoes. They will be kicking off the New Year by promoting the importance of foot care and encouraging employees to schedule a foot screening with Advanas. Our family has used Advanas Foot and Ankle Specialists for the last few years. We have seen Dr. Neal and his staff for foot and ankle problems ranging from broken bones to ingrown toe nails. Dr. Neal and his staff have been courteous and professional every step of the way. Our family has two very active teenagers who are involved in a variety of sports and I have a physically demanding job.
